Binh duong, project manager with the Calgary office leasing company, said he is hoping to open a project in downtown Calgarian City by the end of this month.
The company is also in the process of building a new office building downtown.
Duong said the company is currently looking for a new downtown location.
He said the first phase of the project will include about 40 to 50 offices, which will be leased from Calgary-based Binh Dien Construction Co. It will be the first Calgary office lease in decades.
Duang said the new office will have about two and a half times the space of the existing office, with about 40,000 square feet of office space.
He expects to open the first office office in early January.
He also said the site is near the University of Calgary.
“It’s just a really nice location,” said Duong.
“We’re actually close to the campus, and it’s a good combination of the university and the downtown.”
Duong added that the location will allow the company to open an office on the ground floor and on the first floor.
He added that he expects to have about 150 people working at the project.
The Calgary office project will be a joint venture between Binh and the company that owns the University Centre in downtown.
