Business Insider article A real estate agency has announced it will accept the cryptocurrency bitcoin as payment for real estate deals.
The Hong Kong-based agency, Binh Duongs Real Estate, says it will charge up to 0.25 bitcoin per square metre, and will take care of the rest through a “bitroklos” program that will charge a fixed rate to the buyer.
This means the agency will charge between 0.8 and 1.4 bitcoin per sq metre.
This rate will be adjusted for location, location and market conditions, according to BinhDuongs.
Bitcoins are not widely accepted in Cambodia, and are not currently accepted in the city of Phnom Penh.
However, Binhuks real estate agents say they are now accepting cryptocurrency as payment as a result of their Bitcoin-like platform.
Bitrokles are an online platform that allows real estate professionals to sell apartments for bitcoin.
In a statement, BinH Duongs said it is accepting bitcoin for transactions at a fixed price for the first time.
The company said the Bitrokla program is a way to reduce transaction fees for the buyer of an apartment and help developers, developers, property developers and buyers avoid the high cost of fees.
Bitraks team has also launched a website called Bitraks.com that allows customers to easily get started with the Bitraktos platform.
The platform offers a range of bitcoin-like services, including the Bitraklos, a real-estate portal where users can buy and sell apartments.
Binhuks also said it will be launching its own bitcoin wallet to accept bitcoin payments.
It is not yet clear whether BinhDongs is just one of many real estate companies using bitcoin as a payment option.
Earlier this month, a group of real estate agencies in Singapore announced they would accept bitcoin.
The move came after the real estate industry started using cryptocurrency in 2017 to make transactions easier.
